Hi everyone,
As part of our Ecoschools work in school, we are collecting any old football kits (shirts, socks, shorts, boots) for charity. If you donate any old kit, it will be given to children in countries such as Africa and Romania, so that they can reuse it.
If you would like to donate any football kits, children’s or adult’s, then please bring them into school and put them in the basket in Miss Dakin’s room.
Thanks everyone!

This week in our Year 3 Country Dance lessons each class teacher will be looking out for those children who we would like to invite to join the Hursthead Junior School Country Dance Squad for 2010. 8 lucky children from across Year 3 will be chosen to represent the school at the 57th Annual Folk Dance Festival at the Town Hall, Stockport, in March.
Remember, we are looking for children who have lots of enthusiasm for Country Dance and who have shown over the last few weeks that they are keen to learn the different routines! Any last minute advice? Well, keep smiling and dancing!
Yee ha!

Hi everyone,
I am trying to find out what you all think about Science.
Do you enjoy it? What do you like/dislike?
Is there anything you would like to do in Science?
Do you find it easy/hard?
If you could post me any comments here, it would really help me understand how to make science even better in our school!
Thanks
